How Do You Approach Bible Study In Discipleship?
Where do you start with Bible study when discipling someone? How do you approach studying the Bible, and how do you maintain sensitivity to someone who may not yet buy into the Bible being the authoritative, infallible, and inerrant Word of God?
Leader video excerpt from the Multiply material – Part III, Section 1: Why Study The Bible?
Check it out, we have to keep being learners if we want to be disciples of Christ.
FYI..I and about 25 men in Kokomo, Indiana have committed to multiply ourselves this year and for the rest of our lives. I have one disciple and hope to get another. But here is my need. I also just began a bilingual (English Spanish) Bible study at a local prison. At the first meeting one of the men asked what are we were going to study. I asked what is your greatest need. One man’s hand shot up and said “how to be a disciple of Jesus and how to make disciples”. I think that was as close to hearing Jesus’s voice as I’ve ever been. The question then is; Is multiply or any portion of it in the Spanish language? Thank you for your heart, leadership and example in this critical end time push for disciples.
Lee – That’s awesome! To answer your question, yes. The Multiply material has a Spanish version of the book, and it should be available wherever books are sold. So encouraging to hear about all that the Lord is doing!
