Those in our church who are going through Multiply have really enjoyed it and having a great experience. We are just finishing up the study. There is only one question I would like to ask and it has come up in the groups that are going through it. For most part it seems Multiply starts with people who have been christians for some time. enough that they have been in the church for awhile and understand the questions. We have a few people who are new believers and they couldn't answer the questions when it came to the church.
The question I'd like to ask is, is the study meant to start with existing Christians more than new believers? we were thinking to take new believers through this study at some point in time. Thank you for doing this and providing it to all of us it has helped me a lot. This past Saturday God used me to share Christ and the person accepted the Lord. Amen!

If you live in the United States then you have the freedom to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ right?

You would never have a person reject the Love of Christ right?

You would never be called into HR for sharing the Gospel with a co-worker right?

You would not be threatened to be fired if you talk about or share Jesus Christ right?

They could never equate sexual harassment as the same as religious harassment right?

They could never tell you that if you have a co-worker into your home and share the Gospel of Jesus you will be fire, can they?

I ask these questions because this is what has happened to me in my job.

I was told that if I talk about Jesus Christ with anyone from my company and they hear about it I will be fired. If they are in my home they will still fire me and legally they can. I was shocked and amazed to find out that a case like this has happened in this country. The court sided with the company sexual harassment & sharing your faith = religious harassment. They say they are one and the same.

Have I stopped sharing, No; because their Salvation is at hand. "How will they hear if they haven't a preacher?"

When I sat in that HR office all I could do is cry and say but "I love them so much how can I not tell them", over and over again. This is what happened for 2 hours in that office as they told me to stop talking about Jesus Christ my Savior.

It has been around 2 year now since this happened and I have not stopped sharing because my God is Worthy of my praise!

I very much appreciate this post. I have been following the multiply movement and asking Jesus to help me to respond with obedience to His call to live missionally in community with His people and those who do not yet know Him. However, very quickly the "burden" of discipleship without putting worshiping God first became very apparent in my mindset. It's very easy to forget that "our fruitfulness comes from Him" (Hosea 14:8) and that nothing, not even a command He gives us, should or can successfully be done without first rooting ourselves in Him.
